This is a list of all currently known issues with MystiTool version 1.3.
“Automatic updating is not initialized!”
This is caused by manually resetting the scripts inside MystiTool. Once this happens, the only “fix” is to unpack a NEW, fresh copy of MystiTool. You may use the “Settings Backup” object to backup your old MystiTool and restore everything to the new copy.
Orbit, Crush, Disrupt, and Toss in Havok4
Orbit, Crush, and Disrupt still function, but at much slower speeds.
Toss no longer has a random chance to orbit the target. At best, it will push the target across a sim border if they are not using any sort of movelock. If any similar features become available (in the future) to those who will abuse them, they will also be made available in MystiTool as a means of self-defense.
Avatar slowly loses altitude while hovering in flight
This is due to bugs in the current Havok4 simulator code. More information can be found here:
The current workaround is to use the Movelock feature of MystiTool, which will hold your avatar in place a few seconds after you stop pressing a movement key.
Favorites and Landmarks occasionally show incorrect location
This is due to an SL bug. More information here: http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-2060
This bug typically appears on the first attempted use of Favorites/Landmarks, but it may happen occasionally at other times as well. The suggested workaround is not used in MystiTool due to the annoying issue of the world map opening after a successful teleport.
Avatar becomes frozen after landing on another avatar’s head
This is due to an SL bug. More information here: http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-2059
The current workaround is to temporarily enter fly mode and move away from the avatar’s head.
Duplicate names in the AV Scanner
This is due to an SL bug. More information here: http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-2054
There is currently no workaround, without adding more (laggy) code to the av scanner script to check for duplicates.
Anti-idle is failing to prevent automatic logout for inactivity
It seems the anti-idle feature stops working for a few users with no reasonable explanation. I have tried four different methods of maintaining the anti-idle, but nothing seems to work for 100% of all users. For those few who cannot use the anti-idle feature, I recommend the following:
1. Enable the debug menu by pressing Ctrl-Alt-D. You will see an additional “Advanced” menu at the top of your screen.
2. Go to Advanced -> Character -> Character Tests -> Go Away/AFK When Idle.
Once that option has been unchecked, you will no longer go afk when idle. :)
Extra HUD button textures no longer match their function
The MystiTool scripts rely on prim link numbers to identify which HUD buttons have been clicked. If you re-link MystiTool or link new prims to it, these link numbers change. In order to force MystiTool to re-scan the linkset to find its buttons again, issue the following chat command:
/1 buttons rescan
(Fixed) Favorites are limited to 1000m altitude
This is due to an SL bug. More information here: http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-7331
Fixed in SL viewer 1.22.
(Fixed) Favorites and Landmarks do not work on Intel Mac
This is due to an SL bug. More information here: http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-1405
Fixed in SL viewer 1.20.
(Fixed) Old issues due to SL bugs
The following are old SL bugs, and have been fixed in the most recent viewer as of 2011 Sep 22.
- Unable to attach MystiTool to a different location: http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-5087
Solution: Upgrade to latest SL viewer client.
- “Insufficient permissions” error while reading the inworld User Manual: http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-1225
Workaround: Drag the notecard links back to your inventory, instead of clicking them.
Solution: Upgrade to latest SL viewer client.
