Remote Sim-wide AV Scanner

Updated for: MystiTool version 1.3

Description

Shows the names of all AVs in a sim, remotely.

Requirements

You must first place a remote scanner object anywhere in the sim you wish to scan remotely.

In page 1 of the HUD menu, click Privacy → Scan Remote → New Remote.

Please note: The remote scanner object will only function on land you own directly, or if the object is set to the land’s group.

Menu Commands

To access this feature, click Privacy → Scan Remote on page 1 of the HUD menus.

  • New Remote – Rez a new remote scanner in the current sim.
  • Unlist – Remove a remote scanner from MystiTool’s menu of remotes.

Chat Commands

/1 scan remote
Show a menu with the list of locations where you placed remote scanner objects. You may also unlist remotes from this same menu.

Notes

Delayed reports

Due to delays in email communication between the remote scanner object and the hud, as well as the 60 second timeout for the scan itself, it could take up to about two minutes or so to receive your remote sim scan report.

Accidentally unlisting a remote

If you accidentally unlist a location or reset your MystiTool, you will need to visit the remote scanner locations again. Simply click the remote scanner object to add it back to MystiTool’s location list.
